Noob question about E*TRADE. Why isn’t my net cash balance ... Why isn’t my net cash balance available for investment? None of my 850 in net cash shows as settled or unsettled. Cash balance is the value of your cash or money market holdings. Stock buying power is the amount of marginable securities that you can buy now.
